Power Applications Engineer

Job Summary
Power Applications Engineer – bridge customers and engineering teams to select equipment, manage procurement, and collaborate with engineering and sales. Role involves RFQ/RFP review, quotations, pricing negotiations, bill of materials, and ensuring project plans stay on schedule and within budget. Develop technical solutions, create electrical schematics and drawings, run factory witness tests, support on-site service, and promote product offerings through technical meetings and presentations. Requires a technical background in Electrical Critical Power systems, strong data center infrastructure knowledge, and proven ability to lead projects and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree a huge plus - preferably Electrical Engineering
- 5-7+ years of Power product applications, outside technical sales, and/or Electrical Power experience
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate into business action
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Strong presentation and communication skills; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated project leadership, including scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and milestone tracking
- Previous military experience a huge plus (Nukes, EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees; Army/Navy/Air Force roles)
