Job Summary
Powder Supervisor directs daily production in the Powder department, leading the team to meet productivity, quality, and efficiency quotas. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, planning resources, monitoring performance and KPIs, coordinating with Engineering/Planning on BOM routing, collaborating with Logistics for shipping documents, training personnel, and driving continuous improvement projects. The role also involves organizing inventory, signing timesheets, ensuring 7S standards, and enforcing safety regulations; candidates should have 3+ years of forklift and 3-5 years of powder-coating supervisory experience, with a high school diploma (GED) and a preferred two- or four-year degree. The position requires strong communication, adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to noise and dust.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- 3+ years of forklift experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Powder coating experience a must
- Two- or four-year degree preferred
- OSHA CPI LEAN certifications a plus
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints
- English proficiency
