Job Summary
Operate milling systems such as impact, ball, and jar mills alongside blenders, including the large volume blender, while safely and effectively performing line clearance at the start of each event. Weigh bulk containers using the Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system integrated with SAP ERP and conduct process scale checks on all required equipment. Document procedures, obtain samples for QC, and maintain logs while ensuring chemicals are stored, labeled, and handled in compliance with cGMPs. Keep the work area, utensils, tanks, and equipment clean and organized, participate in the 6S program, and manage supply stock levels. Work the 3rd shift from 9:00pm to 5:30am at FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, California.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals
- 1-2 years of hands on experience
- General education about chemicals and proper handling (college level science preferred)
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- 3rd shift: 9:00pm-5:30am
