Job Summary
Operate milling systems including impact, ball, and jar mills alongside blenders while performing line clearance at the start of each event. Use the Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system with SAP ERP to weigh bulk containers correctly, obtain samples for QC, and maintain all required logs and documentation. Safely clean mills, IBCs, and equipment using dry heat ovens, steam autoclaves, and automated systems while adhering to 6S program standards and cGMP procedures. Ensure chemicals are stored, labeled, and handled properly; keep work areas organized and stocked with supplies. Work the 2nd shift from 1:00pm to 9:30pm at FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, California.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals
- 1-2 years of hands on experience
- General education about chemicals and proper handling (college level science preferred)
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- 2nd shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm
