Job Summary
Operate milling systems including impact, ball, and jar mills alongside blenders while performing line clearance at the start of each event. Weigh bulk containers using the Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal and SAP ERP system to ensure accurate batch records. Maintain logs, document procedures, and verify chemical storage and labeling compliance. Conduct process scale checks on all equipment, keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure supplies are stocked. Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and handle chemicals properly. Operate dry heat ovens, steam autoclaves, and automated cleaning systems to clean mills and IBCs. Participate in the 6S program and suggest improvements to departmental procedures. Work the 3rd shift from 9:00pm to 5:30am.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals
- 1-2 years of hands on experience
- General education about chemicals and proper handling (college level science preferred)
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- 3rd shift: 9:00pm-5:30am
