Job Summary
Operate milling systems including impact, ball, and jar mills alongside blenders while performing line clearance and documenting batch records using the Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal and SAP ERP. Execute process scale checks, maintain all required logs, and ensure proper chemical storage and labeling. Clean mills, IBCs, and equipment using dry heat ovens, steam autoclaves, and automated systems while sustaining the 6S program. Obtain samples for QC, manage supply stock levels, and suggest departmental procedure changes. Work the 2nd shift from 1:00pm to 9:30pm on-site at FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, California, adhering to cGMPs and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals
- 1-2 years of hands on experience
- General education about chemicals and proper handling (college level science preferred)
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
