Job Summary
Powder Coating Technician responsible for safely setting up and operating powder application equipment (guns, hoppers, booth exhausts) to paint various shaped parts for marine engines; assist with daily machine operation (sizer, bender, robotic welding); maintain powder levels and a clean, organized work area; follow Respirator Protection Program and PPE requirements; track powder usage and perform routine adjustments to ensure quality parts meet customer expectations; shift runs 6:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Thursday, with attendance bonus; requires standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; prior industrial painting experience preferred; benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, and retirement plan with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an industrial painter
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to maintain high productivity with little supervision
- Great attention to detail with the desire to maintain exceptional quality of work
- Team player attitude with a willingness to assist in other areas when needed
- Good verbal communication skills
