Job Summary
Lead daily powder coating operations by assigning work, training team members, and ensuring production goals are met. Monitor coating quality, surface preparation, curing, and inspections to maintain high manufacturing standards while utilizing SAP/MRP systems for production tracking and inventory management. Promote workplace safety, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S+1 initiatives to support continuous improvement efforts. This 2nd shift role (3:30-12am) in Farmingdale, NY, requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ in powder coating and 2+ years in leadership. Pay is $25-$27/hour. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing or finishing experience
- 3+ years in powder coating or industrial painting
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using SAP, MRP, or ERP systems for scheduling, production tracking, and inventory control
- Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, powders, and chemicals
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work overtime or weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Management, or related field
- PCI certification
