Job Summary
Lead the Powder Coating department activities in manufacturing: enforce corporate policies; supervise employees (inspectors, machine setters, fabricators); coordinate work schedules and production sequences to meet goals; inspect materials/products/equipment for defects; monitor gauges and indicators to ensure standards; train staff in equipment operations and safety; interpret specifications and blueprints for workers; read charts and production records to determine requirements; set up and adjust machines and equipment to meet production needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior experience within a lead role in powder coater.
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater.
