Job Summary
Operate electrostatic powder spray guns and wash bay systems to apply high-quality coatings to aluminum parts and assemblies. Ensure uniform finishes by visually inspecting coated parts for complete coverage and collaborating with the supervisor to address quality concerns. Use cure and dry ovens as part of the finishing process, identify defective products, and determine corrective actions or rejection. Maintain powder coating equipment and assist with forklift operations while cross-training in other production departments. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in powder coating (preferred)
- Experience working with aluminum parts is a plus
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends, as needed
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
