Job Summary
Powder Coat Technician needed in St. Joseph, MO to prepare, apply, inspect, and finish powder coat finishes on metal parts. Responsibilities include cleaning and masking parts, operating powder coating equipment and ovens, inspecting results for color and coverage, rack and move parts through production, perform basic equipment maintenance, and maintain production records. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, ability to work both independently and in a team, basic data-entry skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (Mon–Thu). Competitive hourly pay ($19.00–$22.00), plus health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and opportunities for training and advancement. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous powder coating, industrial painting, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Basic computer skills for production tracking and data entry
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
