Job Summary
Powder Coat Painter role on 2nd shift in Lake City, MN. Responsibilities include preparing parts for powder coating (clean, wash, degrease, mask, hang), operating powder coat and electrostatic spray equipment, loading/unloading parts on the paint line and ovens, monitoring coating thickness and finish quality, performing touch-ups or rework, adjusting gun settings and powder flow, maintaining spray equipment and booths, following work instructions and quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe paint area, supporting production flow as a line handler, and communicating issues to supervisors and team members. Requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and ability to stand for long periods; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks. Schedule is 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM) with opportunities for overtime; benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing, and a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior powder coating or painting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and demonstrated work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot and cold manufacturing environments
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
