Job Summary
Load, unload, hang, and remove parts from carts while cleaning and prepping surfaces to ensure a quality paint finish. Operate electrostatic powder paint equipment, paint ovens, spray washers, and pumps to apply powder paint to metal products. Use forklifts and hoists to move materials and other hand tools as needed. Check work regularly to identify quality and safety issues. Maintain and repair paint equipment. Requires familiarity with coatings, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with different types of coatings and their applications
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Experience with the maintenance and repair of paint equipment
- Ability to operate all paint equipment including paint ovens, spray washer, and paint pump equipment
- Checking work to identify quality and/or safety issues
