Job Summary
Pourline Process Engineer to optimize pourline production, maximize yield, and ensure process health and safety. Responsibilities include modifying production schedules to improve yield and efficiency, designing and implementing new machinery and process systems, updating reporting methods, developing and modifying foam formulations, writing and updating SOPs, and training personnel on new processes. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, adherence to ISO 9001 and Quality Policy, maintaining 5S in the workspace, cross-training for team flexibility, and collaboration across teams. Requires a Bachelor's in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or 5 years manufacturing experience, strong engineering fundamentals (algebra, transport phenomena, heat transfer, fluid dynamics), ability to analyze production data, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, OR at least 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in polymer industry preferred
- Strong understanding of algebra, transport phenomena, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
- Ability to analyze production data for yields, usages, and key process indicators
- Logical, data-driven problem-solving and decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills; ability to interpret technical documents, safety rules, and operational procedures
