Job Summary
Manage vaccination and pullet moves across farms, ensuring all procedures are performed correctly by crew while maintaining biosecurity for vehicles, buildings, and equipment. Prepare and adjust work schedules, complete service reports, and handle vaccine transport and equipment repairs including injection guns and water-vac pumps. Conduct blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and trap checks. Work flexible hours with a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring crew efficiency and high-quality standards. Maintain employee health and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
- Must be a good organizer
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Must be able to prepare work schedules
- Must be able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by crew
- Must properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses
- Must be able to complete schedules and service reports
- Must be able to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc
- Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps
- Delegate will have a background check performed as stated in the Aviagen Employee Handbook
