Job Summary
Manage and run the entire poultry farm operation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant daily workflows. Be on call daily while birds are on-site, responding promptly to animal health, equipment, or environmental issues. Oversee all aspects of raising poultry for chicken meat production, maintaining optimal welfare conditions. Manage daily husbandry requirements including feeding, health checks, lighting, ventilation, and shed conditions. Operate computerised farming systems, production data, and ordering platforms. Prepare and deliver weekly reports and production updates. Direct, supervise, and maintain general farming activities, ensuring sheds, equipment, and infrastructure are kept in excellent order. Ensure farm roads, fencing, water systems, and utilities are maintained to a high standard. Hire contractors, supervise staff, and coordinate with the producer for chick placement and bird collection. Manage financial and administrative records. Full-time permanent role with annual salary of $76,000 to $100,000. Minimum 2 years' experience in poultry farm management required.

- Relevant Diploma-level qualification in agriculture, poultry production, agribusiness, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
