Potential Speech Language Pathologist

Assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders by evaluating hearing and test results to diagnose and plan interventions for swallowing and voice issues. Administer evaluations using written and oral tests, then develop and implement individual or group treatment programs for stuttering, delayed language, and other impairments. Instruct students and families in communication strategies, muscle control techniques, and coping methods while consulting with educators and medical professionals. Monitor student progress, adjust treatments as needed, and refer cases to additional services when appropriate.
