Job Summary
Potawatomi Marketplace Shift Manager responsible for overseeing quick-service venue operations on assigned shift, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, directing work, performance appraisals, and enforcing policy. Manages daily operations, conducts shift meetings, training, opening/closing duties, cash handling, and inventory coordination to meet budgeted goals. Ensures guest inquiries are resolved promptly and professionally, maintains safety and sanitation, and provides leadership to team members in a high-volume restaurant environment. Must obtain Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days, possess MS Office and POS experience, and be able to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience; an Associate’s degree can replace 1 year of experience; one year of supervisory experience is required. Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally, ability to stand and move throughout the venue, and use of PPE as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of progressively responsible, related experience in a venue of similar size
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Associate’s degree can replace 1 year of experience
- Ability to obtain Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
- Office skills including ability to use standard office equipment and Microsoft Office
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems (preferred)
- Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to speak in front of small groups of team members
- Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
