Job Summary
Pot Washer/Stocking in a skilled nursing dietary services setting. Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and properly storing pots, pans, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment; taking out garbage and maintaining clean waste areas; cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, floors, walls, workstations, and equipment; receiving and storing deliveries; stocking kitchen supplies and storage areas; cleaning and organizing freezer and storage areas; operating dishwashing equipment and using chemicals and temperatures properly; following all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies; assisting dietary staff with additional kitchen support duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Previous kitchen, food service, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
