Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience editing opinion pieces, columns, and long-form content within a newsroom environment
- Proven experience in editorial roles, particularly editing both columnists and long-form, multi-source features
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
- An ardent passion for books and a keen understanding of the publishing landscape
- A sharp eye for narrative, logic, and tone — especially attuned to the Post’s unique voice
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, high-paced newsroom environment
