Job Summary
Posting Reconciliation Specialist responsible for ensuring patient accounts are billed, reimbursed, posted, and balanced to a zero balance; communicate with internal teams, insurance payers, and patients; accurately post payments in the billing system; reconcile accounts; and meet KPI-driven deadlines while working a hybrid schedule in Nashville. Requires 3-5 years in cash posting/reconciliation, strong Excel and Google Docs skills, familiarity with NexGen a plus, and ability to work both independently and with a team.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in cash posting and/or reconciliation of patient accounts
- Proficient in Google, Google Docs, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with NexGen a plus
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Meet deadlines and KPI metric expectations
- Experience in navigating clearinghouses and insurance portals
- Proficiency with medical record technology required
- Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in our Nashville office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office
