Job Summary

Conduct transcriptomic profiling of longitudinal skin samples from a multi-center birth cohort to identify inflammatory endotypes of atopic dermatitis in infancy and their contribution to food allergy development. Analyze whole genome- and RNA-seq data to identify eQTLs influencing early life skin expression and longitudinal development among allergic disease groups. Describe common patterns of allergic disease development and differences in molecular and cellular skin mechanisms underlying the atopic march. Perform independent experimental investigations, including human primary tissue culture, immune cell phenotyping, and single-cell RNA-seq, while providing technical guidance to laboratory staff. Collaborate with internal teams and external researchers on project-focused meetings to advance research on pathobiological subtypes of allergic diseases.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or PhD in biology, chemistry or other basic sciences
  • A minimum of three years of specified experience in technical investigatory techniques during graduate or doctoral training program
  • Be available to work as scheduled and report to work on time
  • Be willing to accept supervision and work well with others
  • Be well groomed, appropriately for your role and wear ID Badge visibly
  • Be in compliance with all departmental and institutional policies, the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and completes NetLearning by due date annually
  • Adheres to safe working practices and at all times follows all institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures
