Job Summary
Conduct perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team using advanced surgical techniques across 26 operating theatres, including hybrid labs and endoscopy suites. Deliver clinical experience and academic support for complex, chronic, and acute medical conditions requiring surgical intervention. Complete four units of study via study days and online modules, including competency and assessment tasks in the clinical workplace. Commit to a minimum 24-month contract with Cabrini Health, starting February 2027, with further year commitment expected post-course.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Victorian Working with Children Check (where applicable)
- A minimum of 2 years nursing experience post registration
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
- The ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
- Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
- Commitment to a further year post course completion with Cabrini
- Satisfactory background checks such as professional references
- National Police Check
- Vaccinations for annual Influenza
