Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing care in a multidisciplinary team across 26 operating theatres, including hybrid labs and endoscopy suites, for patients with complex, chronic, and acute medical conditions. Complete a 24-month program comprising 12 months of affiliation with Monash University and 12 months of skill consolidation, utilizing study days, online modules, and clinical competency assessments. Deliver advanced clinical practice in surgical specialties such as Paediatrics, Neuro, Orthopaedics, and Cardiac within Cabrini's modern Theatre department. Commencing February 2027, this part-time 0.8FTE role offers salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free, meal benefits, and a pathway to a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- A minimum of 2 years nursing experience post registration
- Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
