Job Summary
Develop advanced clinical practice skills in Intensive Care through a 12-month program affiliated with Monash University, combining study days and online learning with competency assessments in the clinical workplace. Manage care for acutely ill patients, those at risk of complications, or recovering from major surgery within Cabrini's 16-bed Level 3 ICU unit. Complete four units of study to earn a Graduate Certificate of Advanced Nursing (Intensive Care Nursing) by August 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Australian working rights
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- A minimum of 2 years nursing experience post registration
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
- Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
- The ability to work within the Mission and Values of Cabrini
- Satisfactory background checks such as professional references
- National Police Check
- Vaccinations for annual Influenza
