Job Summary
Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct research in wireless communication system design with machine learning applications. Responsibilities include conducting extensive research and development in wireless communications and ML, developing models and simulations of wireless systems, applying ML techniques to improve performance, performing data analysis to understand bottlenecks, collaborating with other researchers and engineers, preparing reports and presenting findings at conferences, contributing to grant applications, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students engaged in research. Strong candidates will have a Ph.D. (or doctoral degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a focus on wireless communications and ML; proficiency in programming (Python, C++, MATLAB) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch); a strong publication record; and ability to communicate results clearly and work well both independently and in a team.
