Job Summary
Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Plant Virology Lab at LSU AgCenter (2-year, grant-funded, non-tenure track) focusing on assessing virus establishment and movement in sweetpotato plants, with emphasis on insect-mediated virus transmission experiments in greenhouse and laboratory; responsibilities include training students/visiting scholars; requires a Ph.D. in plant pathology, entomology, or related field, and experience in virus-vector dynamics, molecular virus detection, and project management; ideal candidates have lab/greenhouse experiment experience and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in plant pathology, entomology, or related field

- ability to collaborate with lab members and multidisciplinary teams
