Postdoctoral Research Fellow focused on machine learning-guided antibiotic discovery against clinically relevant pathogens, with a lab that integrates machine learning, genomics, and experimental microbiology to address antimicrobial resistance. The role involves developing and deploying deep learning models to identify novel antibacterial hits (e.g., against Neisseria gonorrhoeae), applying generative AI to design new antibiotic scaffolds, and validating computational discoveries through MIC testing of multidrug-resistant clinical isolates, mechanism-of-action studies, and in vivo mouse infection models. Collaboration across engineers, clinicians, biologists, and chemists, bridging basic research and clinical translation, in a Boston-based lab within Mass General Brigham and Harvard-affiliated institutions.
