Job Summary
Conduct single cell transcriptomic, proteomic, and flow cytometry analyses using human and animal samples. Execute cell culture, RT-PCR, Western blot, and ELISA procedures while performing biostatistical analysis in conjunction with the biostats team. Draft manuscripts and present findings to the lab team and at conferences. Function as part of a multidisciplinary team including bench scientists, clinicians, bioinformatics experts, and data analysts.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree
- background in immunology basic research and/or molecular biology and computation
- experience in techniques including proteomic and single cell transcriptomic analysis
- experience with flow cytometry
- experience with cell culture
- experience with RT-qPCR
- competence in FACS
- competence in single-cell techniques
- ability to conduct research using human samples and/or animal models
- good communication skills
- presentation skills
- inter-personal skills
- excellent scientific productivity, evidenced by high-quality publications
- highly-motivated to conduct independent research
- minimum two-year commitment
