Job Summary
Postdoctoral Research Fellow in BioMedicine Design to drive therapeutic innovation by developing next-generation T cell engagers (TCE) to improve tumor selectivity and minimize on-target off-tumor toxicity. Role encompasses antibody discovery and engineering, construct design, development of cell-based assays, preclinical evaluation, data interpretation, and collaboration across Pfizer teams. Strong emphasis on literature-driven hypothesis testing, data-driven decision making, and regular results communication; requires solid training in molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, or related fields and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry, chemical and biomolecular engineering or related discipline
- Provide two letters of recommendation
- Willingness to commit to fixed-term postdoctoral fellowship (2–4 years)
- Less than 2 years post-doctoral experience
- At least 1 first-author scientific research article in high-quality journals
- Proficient in molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression/purification, mammalian cell culture and cell line engineering
- Develop cell-based assays (e.g., cytotoxicity, proliferation, cytokine production) and flow cytometry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications

- Experience with antibody discovery, protein engineering, and/or display technology (optional)
- Proficiency with molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression/purification, mammalian cell culture and cell line engineering
- Development of cell-based assays (e.g. cytotoxicity proliferation, cytokine production) and flow cytometry
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to fixed-term postdoctoral fellowship (2–4 years)
- Experience generating data-driven conclusions and presenting results regularly
- Prior experience with bispecific antibodies or T cell engagers (nice-to-have)
- Prior experience with antibody discovery and protein engineering (nice-to-have)
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and publish in high-impact journals
