Postdoctoral Research Associate - Quantitative Microscopy and Live-Cell Chromatin Imaging

On-siteMemphis, Tennessee, United States

Full TimeEntry LevelDoctorate Or Professional DegreeLarge

Job Summary

Develop biosensor platforms and imaging strategies to visualize chromatin-state dynamics in live neurons using lattice light-sheet, super-resolution, and single-molecule microscopy. Optimize probe performance, acquisition protocols, and quantitative analysis pipelines for epigenetic modifications and nuclear organization during neuronal differentiation. Design perturbation workflows and computational tools to track gene-regulatory states in developing circuits, contributing to first-author publications and high-risk experiments. Collaborate with cell biologists, biophysicists, and data scientists to build new experimental frameworks that make previously invisible chromatin transitions mechanistically testable.
