Job Summary
Optimise microbial strains for efficient conversion of plastic waste-derived carbon into high-value targets and develop both downstream and upstream parameters for scale-up. Work within the Carbon-Loop Sustainable Biomanufacturing Hub to collaborate with industrial and academic partners across the UK on novel, sustainable, and circular biomanufacturing methods. Join a multidisciplinary team in the new BioFactory with responsibility and autonomy to drive leading-edge research. Full-time role (35 hours per week) with potential for flexible or hybrid working patterns.
