Job Summary

Postdoctoral Fellows sought to join a cross-disciplinary DTU Physics research group to investigate solid-fluid interactions of natural materials and the effect of organic compounds, with a focus on mineral-water-gas systems and CO2 trapping into solid products. The role involves contributing to projects that range from fundamental studies to the development of new experimental methods, modelling, and data integration across techniques (e.g., X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, microscopy, molecular modelling, and geostatistics). Candidates should have a PhD and be motivated to work both collaboratively and independently in an international environment, aiming to advance understanding of CO2 solidification and its application to low-CO2 construction materials. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential; flexibility and a proactive, creative approach are valued.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (geochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, mineralogy, natural materials surface science, geostatistics, physics)
  • strong background in fluid-mineral interaction
  • ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • good communication and English language skills
