Job Summary
Conduct laboratory or computational research activities, collect and analyze data, and assist with experimental design and protocol implementation. Maintain equipment and documentation while contributing to manuscripts, reports, and presentations. Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and other research personnel, with specific duties defined by the supervising faculty member at hire. This postdoctoral role offers world-class training in analytical, biological, inorganic, materials, organic, or physical chemistry within the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University, supported by state-of-the-art instrumentation.
Required Qualifications
- Completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate discipline
- Legally authorized to work in the U. S. A. by the proposed start date, and for the full dates of the appointment
- Pre-employment criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior research experience in a relevant physical science discipline
- Experience with laboratory or computational research methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment
- Experience with data analysis, scientific writing, or specialized research techniques relevant to the hiring lab
