Conduct translational biomedical research in mouse models of Down Syndrome, focusing on how hypothalamic and pituitary hormones contribute to disease across multiple organ systems including the brain, eye, bone, and adipose. Collect, analyze, and interpret data while collaborating with graduate, undergraduate, and high school students. Present research findings regularly at local events at Sinai and external conferences. Develop and annually re-assess a career development plan to promote independence and successful transition to an independent career in science.
