Job Summary
The Calico Postdoctoral Fellowship is a three-year fixed-term educational assignment for early career scientists focused on independent research related to aging and age-related diseases, particularly Parkinson's Disease. Responsibilities include leading research projects, driving scientific progress through meticulous experimentation and data analysis, publishing findings, and actively collaborating across diverse teams. Required Qualifications
- Recently completed a PhD degree in a relevant scientific or computational field
- Current PhD students must be within 12 months of completing their PhD
- PhD graduates must have completed their PhD within the past 3 years and not have been employed as a postdoc at more than one other lab/company since graduation
- Must have made important contributions to science in their area, ideally demonstrated by having a meaningful first author paper accepted for publication
- Must be willing to work onsite five days per week
