Job Summary
Conduct specialized research in atmospheric science, including chemistry, climate dynamics, cloud microphysics, and remote sensing, using measurement and modeling approaches. Collaborate with a faculty adviser to determine publication concepts, prepare manuscripts and scientific graphics, and present findings at scientific meetings and conferences. Share research results with the public and select relevant topics based on individual faculty group needs. This role supports the Department of Atmospheric Science's mission in teaching, research, and service.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Atmospheric Science or a related field, including chemistry, physics, computer science, and engineering
