Job Summary
Join the Liang Laboratory at The Wistar Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on cancer biology and virus-host interactions. Responsibilities include exploring mechanisms of oncogenic addiction, developing therapeutic vulnerabilities, and investigating molecular pathways governing host response and viral pathogenesis. Candidates should possess a PhD in a relevant field, a strong publication record, and proven project management skills. Preferred experience includes working with mouse models, 3D culture systems, and bioinformatics.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, or a related field
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex research projects
- Solid background in molecular and cellular biology and/or biochemistry
Desired Qualifications
- Mouse models and in vivo studies
- 3D culture systems or organoid models
- Viral systems or infection biology
- Bioinformatics or computational analysis
