Job Summary
Postdoctoral Associate to lead data analysis and algorithm development for multi-omic datasets (single-cell RNA-Seq, single-cell ATAC-Seq, spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiome) in the Xavier Lab at the Broad Institute. Primary responsibilities include overseeing data generation/analysis across collaborations, developing and implementing computational methods, leading projects with minimal supervision, and contributing to papers and grant proposals. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a quantitative field with a strong publication track record and proficiency in Python or R, ML/deep learning, and diverse bioinformatic analyses. The role focuses on understanding inflammatory and autoimmune disease mechanisms through spatial and single-cell multiomics in human tissues and mouse models, with a leadership component in project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Statistics, or related quantitative fields
- strong publication record
- experience with Python or R and ML methods
- bioinformatics analyses including single-cell sequencing and spatial analyses
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ability to work independently and in a team
