Job Summary
Postdoctoral Associate role in the Hinson Lab focusing on sarcomere assembly and function using human pluripotent stem cell technology and advanced structural biology. The candidate will collaborate with a trans-continental group funded by HFSP, leveraging pluripotent stem cell biology, organoid/microtissue assays, super-resolution microscopy, and proteomics to define rules governing sarcomere biology. Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biophysics, biomedical engineering, or related field of study
- Experience in pluripotent stem cell biology and differentiation, advanced microscopy, genome editing, and proteomics
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently and with a team across continents
- Experience with R, Python or similar statistical package; useful proteomics data analyses and bioinformatics
