Job Summary

Postbaccalaureate Researcher will work under the supervision of senior personnel on research projects in diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolic diseases, providing independent complex research support in a full-time, up-to-two-year program. Primary duties include conducting experiments and analyses, data collection and entry, tissue culture, animal care and maintenance, and setup/maintenance of equipment; documentation of laboratory conditions; presenting results to peers and supervisors; participation in career development workshops and seminars; and ongoing opportunities to prepare for graduate study and advance research skills. The program emphasizes readiness for research, academics, and self-presentation, with a curriculum that includes tailored workshops, seminars, research forums, and graduate-level classes, and requires submission of supplemental materials for the application. Funding is provided by an NIH PRIDE program, and benefits are included.
