Job Summary
Post-Silicon Validation and Debug Engineer at Intel responsible for validating CPU/SOC architectures across laptops, desktops, and gaming systems. Develop and execute validation plans to verify functionality, power, and thermal management; design, implement, and debug validation tests for post-silicon environments; collaborate with design, firmware, software, and manufacturing to identify and resolve issues; lead debug tasks to root-cause issues impacting milestones; drive validation automation and coverage; work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and delivery of products. Requires strong problem-solving and debugging skills, written and verbal communication, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and experience with silicon validation tools and lab equipment; preferred familiarity with Graphics/Display IPs, power management flows, and Intel architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Post-silicon validation, pre-silicon verification or design, particularly in CPU, SOC, or chipset domains
- 1+ years of experience with silicon validation tools, lab equipment (e.g., logic analyzers, oscilloscopes), and debugging techniques
- Scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or Perl) to develop validation tools and frameworks
