Job Summary
Implement direct care to clients under clinical supervision, including psychotherapy, client education, and diagnostic assessments. Provide supervision and training while stimulating positive social interaction and acting as a role model. Plan recreational and programmatic activities, assisting clients with physical and emotional needs such as nutrition and family involvement. Complete required assessments upon admission, including Vulnerable Adult and Functional Assessments, and maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, daily logs, and discharge summaries. Adhere to all licensing agency rules and participate in regular supervision and weekly treatment plan reviews.
Required Qualifications
- is enrolled in an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is participating in a practicum or internship with the license holder through the individual's graduate program
- has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice
