Job Summary
Conduct outpatient psychotherapy, including individual, couples, family, and group sessions, while managing a caseload of approximately 12–18 active clients under direct supervision. Engage in structured supervision with a doctorally prepared psychologist and a professional supervisor, and attend monthly seminars, didactic sessions, grand rounds, and case consultations to develop clinical judgment. Participate in a two-year cohort model designed to foster relational and systemic psychotherapy skills, focusing on case formulation, therapeutic alliance repair, and holding clients through distress. Submit a cover letter detailing training goals and clinical narrative as the primary application component. This full-time, salaried training position prepares pre-licensed clinicians for licensure in Minnesota through a rigorous, competency-based curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or closely related field from a regionally accredited program
- Successful completion of a clinically focused master's-level practicum or internship where individual psychotherapy — including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic work — was the primary activity
- Declared licensure track (LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in Minnesota)
- Social work track applicants must hold a current, non-provisional LGSW before start date
- A cover letter
