Post Harvest Technician

Job Summary
Prepare harvested flower products for sale by trimming, weighing, packaging, labeling, and case-packing finished goods in fresh frozen, cured, ground, and kief forms. Utilize machinery and hand tools to refine products while ensuring strict compliance with regulations, laws, and company SOPs. Accurately count, fill, and record materials to maintain production standards and prevent contamination. Clean and sanitize equipment, tables, and racks to uphold hygiene requirements. Occasionally assist in the cultivation department with uncured flowering cannabis when workflow demands. Work three days per week from 7:30am to 5:30pm in a labor-intensive greenhouse environment with strong cannabis odors and elevated humidity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Ability to strictly follow industry regulations, laws, and company SOPs
- Precision in weighing, filling, labeling, counting, and recording materials
- Demonstrated ability to meet production standards (speed, quality, volume) while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Comfortable using both machinery and hand tools to trim and refine flower products
- Skilled in cleaning, sterilizing, and sanitizing rooms, equipment, tables, and storage surfaces
- Willingness to perform other assigned duties, adapt to shifting priorities, and support the team
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass extensive background screenings
- Ability to pass a 9-Panel Drug Screen (NO THC)
- Adherence to company standard operating procedures, including a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement
- Completion of a mandatory multi-hour Department of Health certification course
- Completion of mandatory annual safety trainings
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in rooms with temperatures averaging 60 - 75 degrees with elevated humidity levels and intense bright lights
- Ability to work in the dark or altered colored lighting
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, temperatures, motion, and moderate-to-loud noises
- Ability to utilize hearing protection equipment and other PPE to maintain safety and compliance
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and/or feel objects, tools, and/or controls
