Job Summary
Post-Harvest Technician responsible for supporting packaging, trimming, and harvesting operations and maintaining an organized inventory of finished cannabis products. Candidates will participate in quality control across trimmed and packaged products, follow checklists and SOPs, monitor curing environments, and help ensure cleanliness and sanitation in post-harvest areas. Role requires effective communication with the post-harvest team and other departments, attention to labeling and batch tracking, and adaptability as duties evolve. Minimum one year cannabis-related experience preferred; certification in agricultural/horticultural practice and proficiency with inventory software, Excel, and Google Sheets are advantages. Must be 21+ in relevant states and able to pass a background check; physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in potentially humid, odorous environments. Salary range $17.00-$20.00 per hour (non-exempt, overtime eligible). Location: Fitchburg, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year cannabis growing/trimming/industry experience preferred
- Certification(s)/education in agricultural, horticultural, or botanical practices
- Previous experience with inventory software, Excel, and Google spreadsheets
- Education in agriculture, horticulture, or botany preferred but not necessary
- Must pass stringent background test requirements of state you will working in
- Age requirements; MA 21, OH 21 and PA 18
- Possess valid driver's license or state ID card; authorized to work in the U.S
