Job Summary
Post Harvest Technician performs manual cannabis-processing tasks such as hanging, bucking, drying, destemming, and trimming; maintains an organized inventory with accurate labeling and batch tracking; adheres to SOPs, OSHA regulations, and GMP standards; cross-trains with harvest, drying, trimming, weighing, processing, filling, and packaging teams; conducts in-process and post-process quality assurance testing, visual inspections, and data recording to ensure products meet Ayr Wellness specifications; monitors processing conditions and equipment, manages inventory of supplies, and supports calibration and tare-weight calculations; may train future team members; role requires flexible hours and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-year experience in the cannabis or agricultural industry not required, but preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, including flexible and/or extended hours as needed
