Job Summary
Operate pile driving equipment based on project requirements while performing routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Follow prescribed safety regulations and precise instructions, reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and load charts. Lift 50+ pound equipment and maneuver it into proper places while conducting repetitive actions like stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Stand or walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, with exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris. Provide timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking. This field-based, hands-on position supports the mechanical scope of solar and battery energy storage projects in Krum, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Equipment certifications as required
- Current driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
- Ability to lift 50+ pound equipment
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts
- Ability to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
- Ability to work outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
