Job Summary
Operate pile driving equipment based on project requirements while performing routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Follow prescribed safety regulations and read documents such as operating manuals and load charts. Lift 50+ pound equipment and conduct repetitive actions like stooping, bending, and pushing. Stand or walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and cold. Provide timely documentation of field decisions and reporting such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking. This field-based position supports the mechanical scope of solar and battery energy storage projects in Krum, Texas. Candidates must possess a current driver's license with necessary endorsements and equipment certifications.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Equipment certifications as required
- Current driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
- Ability to lift 50+ pound equipment
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts
- Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
- Ability to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on construction projects preferred
