Post Doctoral Scholar

Postdoctoral position in computational and theoretical materials science in the Materials Theory, Informatics, and Design Group at the University of Central Florida. Research areas include first-principles design and discovery of advanced materials for quantum and energy applications, prediction of materials synthesizability, defect physics in semiconductors, and development of advanced AI methods for materials science. Applicants should have a strong background in computational materials science or condensed matter physics, with experience in first-principles calculations and/or machine learning for materials research preferred. Ph.D. must be conferred before the commencement of employment.
